Silent Conversations and a Crow's Final Song!
My latest story, and one of my personal favorites. A girl bound in silence finds the words to say to her prospective girlfriend as they visit her religious father in a dusty town on the edge of Kansas, where the crows' migration south brings forth anchored memories, the path to resolution, and a new start.

Gee, thanks Shadow Blade! I'm so glad that a newbie like you likes th - wait a second…

Anyway, I know I promised chapters to be released quickly, but unfortunately I have this massive project which is my Final Exam for English that I haven't really made a lot of progress on. I was planning on doing a good chunk of it this weekend but despite not really procrastinating much I didn't get around to it and it's due next Monday. So I'm going to be focusing a lot on that until Monday, so I might not do much with this. However, as soon as school's done (that Monday's the last day of school) I should have time to work on this again (though I will also be making the boss for my LDC entry).

EDIT: All right, so I finally managed to overcome my writer's block and made some progress on this. I decided to redo chapters 9 & 10 as I was not satisfied with them. I took a bit of the original Chapter 9, combined it with a bit from the original Chapter 10, and then wrote a new bit to create the new Chapter 9, thereby scrapping the old Chapters 9 & 10. So yeah, please read and comment. Hopefully I will get a brand new Chapter 10 out tomorrow or sometime reasonably soon and then we'll take it from there.

DOUBLE EDIT: I redid Chapter 9 again and will hopefully be redoing Chapter 10 sometime in the not-too-distant future.

Well, considering how much time in between my writing new chapters lately, I will heartily agree with that.
