It has mild swearing, but not a whole lot. Enjoy reading it, though!

Prologue
"Dude!" one of the teens at Jakesper High School shouted as he slammed his deck on the table,"you always win! How do you do it?!"
Dimotri smiled as he stacked his deck and put it back into his binder."What can I say? I've learned how to play over the years. All it takes is practice. Don't worry, you get better at it soon!"
Dimotri gave the "peace" sign to his opponent and left to go to lunch.
Dimotri hadn't always been a good player at Equadon. He had only managed to master the game itself after he saved the planet it was based off of years ago.
It was 2020....the year he had gotten an invitation to join the Equadon Championship society...the society that never existed...
Chapter One- The Invitation
Dimotri sat staring into space on top of his bunk. He had already spent five years in this orphanage. Nothing ever happened there.
A knock was heard against the door.
"Come in", Dimotri muttered as he sat motionless on his bed.
One of the orphanage staff stepped inside."Mr. Dimotri, a letter arrived addressed to your name. Would you like me to read it for you?"
Dimotri got up from his bed."No, I'll read it for myself if you don't mind."
Dimotri read through the letter then looked back up at the kind lady from the staff."I'm going to take a walk if you don't mind.'K?"
The lady nodded and Dimotri climbed out through the window next to his bed. This was how he always managed to get to school earlier than the others. Open the window and jump.
Dimotri followed the path that led to the city. He was going to the address the letter came from.
159 1/5 Maple St.
Hours later, Dimotri stood in between two buildings. The first said 159 on the door, but the one right of it said 160.
He kicked the wall in frustration. So much for joining the club.
But before he managed to turn to walk away, a hole erupted in the edge of brick and greasy asphalt. A tunnel of rainbowlike blackness started to pull Dimotri in. He had no choice. He couldn't resist in time. He was falling. Falling through time.
Falling.
Falling.
Sleeping.
Timeless.
He still hadn't touched ground. In restlessness, he reached to scratch an itch. He then was shocked by what he saw.
He had aged. He was now in his twenties.
But what if he was still eight-years-old?....
He checked.....yep. He was twenty, no doubt about it.
He suddenly touched ground. His head hit a stone floor and was out cold.
What he saw later startled him. He was in a cave. On every wall was a shelf displaying rotting corpse, captured spirits, severed heads, and bones. No happiness here at all. He had entered some cruel king's room.
Dimotri heard voices coming from next door. In curiosity, he peered around and almost screamed.
In plain view was a figure that was nothing but pure darkness. He wore nothing, as you couldn't see anything. He was speaking to someone who was slightly the same, but different. This guy had blond hair, rotting flesh, a bony hand.....and no bottom half of his body. A tattered cloak draped around him, but their wasn't a need. He reaked of dead things and a crypt of soldiers.
The figure of darkness spoke first."I heard that the boy recieved my invitation, did he not?"
The other man nodded in fear, but their was clearly no need."Yes, my lord."
The dark man laughed a laugh that turned Dimotri's blood cold, his skin to ice, and made him almost want to take a knife and commit suicide."Splendid! With him in my grasp, the stupid prophecy will never live!"
The man nodded and turned towards Dimotri."But sir, he can't be fully in your grasp, he must surely be caught first, right?"
Dimotri knew why he said this. He was giving the signal for Dimotri to flee. And flee Dimotri did.
He ran to the opening of the cave and awoke in the same place he lost consciousness. Standing over him was a teenage girl who wore nothing but a grass skirt and something that looked similar to a bra made from tree bark. She was pointing an arrow straight towards Dimotri's heart.
"Speak", she ordered. Her voice was as sweet as honey, but as sharp and dangerous as that of an axe. She would kill not in fear, but with determination."Speak your name, trespasser!"
Dimotri gulped in fear."I- I am Dimotri. I came here on accident! Some guy summoned me."
The girl lowered her bow. After staring at Dimotri for a few minutes, she held out a hand, beckoning for Dimotri to take it."Come with me then. I am Aria(Are-eye-ah), goddess of the wilderness, and I will show you why you are here....."
Chapter Two- Intertwined Fates
Aria pulled Dimotri into a forest. Once there, she almost was an animal, like those pets you don't put accessories on. Once she planted a foot on an oak tree's root, all her clothing disappeared.
Dimotri would have noticed this, like all teenagers and young men do when this happens to a girl, but he was still confused about what had happened. Why was he in this world? Why had Aria mentioned something about why he was here?
Soon the couple came up to a tree. Aria placed a hand on it and the bark melted away. Not only that, but the whole inside of the tree melted too.
Aria smiled."Down you go, Dimotri Starblood."
Dimotri gave her a puzzled look."Starbl-"
She shoved him down the tree, and he fell through time once more.
He sighed. Falling was starting to get VERY boring.
He hit bottom once more. Now he was in a place filled with molten magma and burning rocks.
Dimotri glanced up. However he had fallen was gone. Now he was alone in this strange realm.
He looked around himself. Everywhere there was doors. He guessed that one would lead to escape. But which one?...
He looked up again. A rock pattern he didn't understand was hanging above him.
Dimotri groaned. Might as well just pick a door and hope for the best.
He stepped forward and almost got melted by a gusher of magma. Now he understood. The rock pattern was the pathway to the door!
But he was running out of time. After that previous gusher, more were spewing. Pretty soon the room would be flooded and he wouldn't wouldn't exist anymore.
He did the most stupid thing ever. He looked up and started running in the path of the above rocks. With every step, he knew he was right. No lava was gushing.
Soon he reached the right door, and just in time! The lava had reached the surface he was standing on and was beginning to slowly trickle down the tunnel.
He bolted down the hallway and found himself in a huge throne room. Before him stood a red-headed girl in red hot armor. And when I say hot, I don't mean the temperature. I also mean it the way Dimotri saw it.
The girl smiled in an evil way."Welcome Dimotri Starblood.....to your demise."
Dimotri frowned. Why did people keep calling him "Starblood"? The people at the orphanage said that his parents' last name was "Jones".
Then he understood. He was the only kid on Earth who had been named "Dimotri". All the other kids made fun of him because he had a weird name.
The girl smirked."Ah, so the young hero understands the past now? Good, now he won't understand what I will do to him in the future."
She raised a hand and pointed to the roof. Globs of lava fell onto the arena ground and formed into a magma monster. In one of them was a stone. No, not a stone....
A ring.
Dimotri knew it was of importance. If he could just get his hands on it.
The ones not containing the ring charged at Dimotri. But strangly enough, he knew how to defend himself.
A stalactite hung above him. Leaping unnaturally high, he took hold of it and guided them towards the girl.
She screamed as the slammed straight into her. While she was busy trying to get untangled from them, Dimotri took her fallen helmet and threw it straight towards the monster with the ring.
Bulls-eye. Straight through the heart and out with the ring.
Dimotri dived for the ring as it started to smoke. He slipped it onto his finger and instantly the monsters melted away into the ground.
The girl glared at Dimotri, but soon her look turned to that of admiration. She smiled in a strange way.
Soon Dimotri was taken over by love. He wanted to kiss this girl. But he knew the legends of what happened to mortals taken under a god's spell. One kiss or touch would vaporize him.
The girl smirked."So you are the one, Dimotri. Then you must know who I am."
Visions overcame Dimotri's mind. He saw this girl in every single one. There was one of her in a war, one of her in a council meeting, one of her in a picture with many other teenagers and one floating eye above them all.
....And one strange one that showed the girl with Dimotri, dancing, wedding, kissing.
The girl blushed and the visions faded."My mistake, young one. My hope to be with you took over me. But come again, for after you finish your task, I will hope to see you again."
She winked at him and he appeared once more in Aria's tree-home.
Aria smiled when Dimotri came back to his senses of his surroundings."Glad you didn't fall for Flamiere's love spell. Sucks enough that she is goddess of the fire, but of love too? Nope. I can't believe it at all."
Dimotri wrinkle his brow in confusion."Wait, you know that girl?"
Aria nodded."Every god and goddess here on Equadon is a sibling of mine. I am the oldest, an age of 15 here."
Explains why you tried to attract pedophile attention on the way here, Dimotri thought.
Aria raised an eyebrow."Don't think I don't hear what you say and think, sweetheart."
Dimotri's stared at her."Why do you keep calling me names that have to do with love? Do you-"
She shoved him back down the hole he fell in once.
Dimotri let his legs hang down below him. He guessed that he would land on solid ground.
Three seconds later, he fell on a mountain and started to roll downhill.
Ouch.
He braced himself for the impact. In front of him was a muscular man. If he was right, he would hit him and they would both tumble down the rocks.
CLUNK.
He struck the guy's legs so hard, he felt his teeth rattle in hi mouth. But the man continued to stare down the mountain.
Dimotri rubbed his head. His vision was blurry, but he could make out the man picking up a boulder that must have weighed around 17,000 tons.
Dimotri gaped at this. How in the world was this even possible? A 17,000 ton rock? PICKED UP?
But that wasn't all. The man then threw the rock at least around 10,000 miles away.
Dimotri was struck dumb. This man was able to throw a 1000 ton boulder at least three Earth's away. If Equadon was this big.....well, it proved to Dimotri that his quest may take a while.
The man turned and faced Dimotri."Well, wimp? Got anything to say?"
Dimotri gulped."You wouldn't happen to be a sibling of Aria....would you?"
The man growled."For saying that, I will smash you into dust. Yes, I am Mongor. Older sibling of Aria.....and god of strength and stone."
Dimotri's eyes widened."Oh shit. I'm dead."
Mongor frowned."Whatever 'shit' means, I hope it means that you are scared. Now get ready for death Starblood. None have defeated me in history."
He pounded his fist into the mountain's stone and an avalanche started to fall behind them. Dimotri knew he was going to die. There was no way out of this battle.
He was dead.
Chapter Three- The Learning of the Rings
What? Did you really think that Dimotri had died?
Ha! Dimotri may have been mortal and vulnerable to harm, but the god didn't know other things about Dimotri.
You see, the gods and goddesses of Equadon didn't know a lot about Earth. They believed that all mortals were ignorant and that they were easy to kill. But after living on Earth for years, Dimotri had learned a bit about safety.
He saw the rocks coming closer. He knew that most mountains were once volcanoes. Taking this into mind, he thought about fire.
Instantly, the mountain erupted at the top. Molten lava began pouring down the hill.
Mongor's face became one of fear. He was strong, but fire was able to burn him. He made a jump to get out of the way.
Dimotri grabbed a hold of his leg while the big bodybuilder leapt into air.
Then he saw it.
A spheric geode flew past his face. It had a strange gray glow to it.
Dimotri knew instantly what this meant.
Another ring. This one of rock.
He manuvuered his body into that of a swan dive. He felt the air pass him even more quickly. He was getting closer to the ring.
He groaned as something struck him in the back. He looked behind him and saw Mongor hanging on to him.
Mongor growled."If we fall, then I will get injured. But you will die, making this battle a win for me!"
Dimotri raised an eyebrow and spoke in the way of chatspeak."O rly? How U going 2 do tat?"
He started using his hip muscles and spun in the air. Mongor lost his grip and fell away.
The ring was now only an arm's length away.
Dimotri stretched his arm out and caught it.
He was getting closer to hitting ground. Summoning the power of the newly aquired ring, he made all the volcanic rock surround him, making a protective shell.
He struck ground and it all flew away. Looking behind him, he saw Mongor cursing him.
Dimotri smiled. This was an easy quest. But he shouldn't stop yet. He had to gain more of these elemental rings.
And he had to hurry. His memory recalled that vision of those two dark people. What if the one of shadows was waiting to kill him somehow? What if the rings were the advantage over Dimotri?
He walked up to a tree and placed his hand on it. Aria, I need you here. NOW.
Aria appeared. Once more, she was naked. But why shouldn't she be? Animals didn't wear clothes, so since she was a guardian of nature, she believed that being naked was being equal to that of the animals.
Aria smiled when she saw Dimotri."Glad to see you survived that one. But now I need you elsewhere. Head towards Flamiere's lava fortress again. Only this time, I need you to head into the sky. My brother Flighteron will be there. He is just like me, not taken over like my other siblings."
Dimotri didn't give her the confused look this time. He guessed. That dark person was causing Dimotri to be here. He had taken over the gods, and it was up to Dimotri to save them again.
He nodded."I'll do it, Aria. But promise me you will ask Flamiere not to flirt with me. She kind of over-does it when I see her.
Aria grinned."Sure, my love. Whatever you ask."
Dimotri smiled and started walking back to the volcano to visit Flamiere again.
Chapter Four- The Sky Gods
The trip to the volcanic entrance took three full Earth hours, but only three minutes on Equadon. But this was due to the magic atmosphere surrounding Equadon.
Dimotri had reached the door. Two lava guards took notice of him and opened the doors for him.
Once inside, Dimotri's mouth hung almost past his knees.
Inside was a palace like no other. There were staircases made of pure diamond. Chandeliers of smoke hung on the roof and somehow managed to produce light for the room.
Dimotri shook himself out of his trance and asked a nearby scholar where he could find Flamiere.
"This is the time of her royal bath. We prefer not to go in due to how strong her spells are when she is out of uniform. But as you are like no other, I trust that you will survive the torture they put you through. Go on down the corridor and open the two big doors. You will find her in the baths."
Dimotri followed the directions the scholar gave him. He found two purple doors that stood in the end of the hall.
He gulped and knocked on the door.
"Come in", Flamiere's sugar-sweet voice called out.
Dimotri opened the door and was overwhelmed, just as the scholar had said had happened to the others.
Flamiere was laying down in a huge bathtub that could have contained about seven cities and one community to go along. It appeared she was taking a bubble bath as there was bubbles....in lava. How Flamiere could enjoy this was a wonder.
She smiled when she saw Dimotri."Ah, if it isn't the sweet boy who saved me. Come closer. Would you like to take a bath with me?"
Dimotri shook his head frantically."In molten lava?! No!"
Flamiere tilted her head."What if I change it to water for you?"
Dimotri shook his head again."Sorry Flamiere, but I don't have time for romance. I came here because Aria said-"
Flamiere groaned when she heard the name.
"-that I needed to get to Flighteron."
Flamiere almost jumped out of the bathtub when she heard Flighteron's name."Aria asked you to see Flighteron?! Is she asking him out?!"
Dimotri stared at her."Isn't Flighteron your brother?"
Flamiere's eyes glowed with admiration."He's my brother, yes. And he's hot. VERY HOT."
Dimotri raised an eyebrow."Just tell me where the way to Fighteron is and I will go."
Flamiere stood up and clapped her hands. The lava turned to steam and surrounded her feminine body, making a vapor-like bathrobe."Better yet, I'll show you."
She guided Dimotri to the top of her fortress. But they didn't stop. She then took Dimotri to the top tower where an orb glowed."
She frowned."Flighteron gave this to me when I turned sixteen. He said if I ever wanted to visit him, I should just touch it. However, I haven't had the time to do so. I guess you could use it to your needs, sweety."
Dimotri rested a hand on it and began to warp into the sky. Just before he was completely gone, Flamiere shouted "Tell him I love him!".
Then he was in the clouds.
