Invisible Killer

Postby TrappedTime » February 12th, 2010, 4:18 pm

This is a new type of murder story.
It may not exactly seem interesting at first but once it gets to the middle, oh boi you're gonna wanna read more.
I may not be good with details and writing itself, but I'll ty my best to make you happy.
PLEASE do NOT ask about chapter titles. I chose them to fit what the chapter is about, and what scene would describe the chapter in a few words.
[Well that about gives the meanings away.. >.< ]
[Post any criticism below]
I spell words wrong all the time.
DUH, I know you can see the indents, but I don't want to go searching for the colors..... >.<

Holding His Breath Underwater
INDENTINDENTSunny. Warm and peaceful. Yet rotten in the core. That's what Jake felt as he stepped out of his house. Looking left and right, he awaited the signal of safeness so he could cross the road. Nothing came speeding by, so Jake knew it was safe. He put one foot onto the black road, and he felt something jolt hrough his body. At first Jake thought he got electrecuted, but then realized there was nothing that could have caused the strange phenomenom. He quickly sped-walked across the street and checked his body for any sign of disturbance. Nothing came up. Jake was mystified by it, but he continued to school.
INDENTINDENTThe school bell rang and Jake sat down in his seat. The teacher walked in with an unusual load of papers in his arms.
"Okay class, today we're having a test on geometric forms." The class sighed in protest and agony. Jake had an intake too.
"Don't worry. You'll all get A's." They stared in joy.
"As long as you studied." Then the class put their heads down again.
The tests were handed out and Jake stared at the cover. It was just a white space of rectangular properties. Four sides, four corners. Nothing more but blankness. He opened the thick booklet and started answering questions. The tip of his pencil broke[Que scary music]. He stood up and started walking down the isle of desks. Nothing was going through his mind except for "Stupid pencil ,wasting my time....".
INDENTINDENTHe walked up to the pencil sharpener[Que louder scarier music]. He slowly pushed his pencil in and BOOM! The sharpener exploded, sendind Jake ten feet back. The pencil went flying into the air and stuck in the ceiling. Jake looked up and the pencil started to slide. It fell down and Jake moved his head one inch and dodged the fatal attack to his hea. Jake was still severely bleeding from his forhead, stomache and other areas. So much blood lost, he passed out. Hours later he woke up in a hospital. Jake then realized the jolt was a sign of death. But he dodged it.
INDENTINDENTHis parents and sister came in, glad to see he was okay.It waas a miracle jake survived not being hit by the pointy pencil. It was even more mysterious how the pencil didn't break. But all was over for now. For now........

One Million Waldos
INDENTINDENTJake soon found his friends rush in. Thankfully none of them were in the same class as Jake was when the pencil sharpener exploded.
"Jake! Oh man.... That accident must have been the scariest thing of your life." said Mark.
"I-I didn't expect that to happen. It was just so..... weird after what happened in the street...." responded Jake.
"Huh? What happened?"
"Well I put one foot onto the road and I felt a jolt go through my body. It wasn't electricity, it just felt so weird. And then I realized that the jolt must have been connected to the accident."
"That's.....odd.... But okay. The thing is you're okay and not dead."
Smiles spread across the room.
INDENTINDENTThe next few weeks Jake was recovering from the brutal attack*. He had to wear a back brace for a long time until his spine was back in shape. Everyone at school treated him with more respect after seeing what happened. Especially since he was the only one who got hurt**. After school he would walk downtown to the Laciport Eihtooms Efac***. There he would usually decide between sunset sunrise or banana cocoa revamp. He would then sit down with ihs friends and talk about stuff. But this time was different...
INDENTINDENTJake was staring into the eyes of Veronica when he noticed a man pointing to him through his periphial vision. He quickly turned his head, but he vanished. Forgetting what he was talking about, he turned his head and asked "Hey, did you just see that man?"
"What man?" Veronica asked.
"The man who was just pointing to me. He was standing outside, I saw him, but when I went to go look, he vanished."
"Oh Jake. That accident must have gotten you loopy."
