How's it like being a criminal: Escaped from prison and hiding, prison after caught, court!
Step one: Thief On The Loose
Spoiler: show
It was late in the dark through the deserts, where nobody wandered around there.
The sand drifted rapidly, as gentle winds drove them southeast. The moon
brightened the hot, dry place like in the day. It was quiet, too quiet.
Except footprints crawled through the desert grounds, as a person strolled across
it. He was a whitish brown person. The person wore a leathery shirt with red and
green stripes, and smooth pants with orange star decors. His head was beaded with
sweat, like he ran all the way from the city.
He managed a wicked laugh, “Nobody can find me here, for I am Adam Chin, the
biggest thief in all of Dame City. I’m also the best escaper!”
Adam was silent for a few moments. He felt that danger surrounded him, lurking in
the shadows, ready to burst out and hunt him. And yet, he comprehends the desert
was very safe. So far, it was so good. It was as tranquil as an empty city. Nothing was
seen.
It wasn’t then when he heard a vicious growl from somewhere. He looked.
Nothing. Then he locked his eyes on the shadow, behind the cactus in front of Adam.
He stammered, breathing heavily, “I—I got to r—run!” The thing popped out of
nowhere, and began to chase him. Adam screamed, as he raced. It was quicker than
him, “I have no choice, I need to hide.”
The person increased his speed, when he observed the safe hiding spot. On the
other hand, he came across a canyon, separating him and the spot. The canyon was
60 meters wide, and if you tried to jump, you’d fail. At the bottom was a river that
can swift you out of the desert.
He looked behind, the beast roared ferociously, as it was on the ball. There was
no sign of escape. To make it worse, he had heard sirens in front of him. It was the
police. Adam Chin sighed. Two policemen came out of the car.
“Do you really think he’s here?” asked the policeman on the right,
“Of course.” The policeman on the left nodded, “We looked everywhere in the
city. Also, the deserts is a good place for criminals.”
“I agree. Come on, let’s move out.” They split up, and tried to gather evidence
that Adam was in the desert, which he was.
The police and the beast were after him. Speaking of the beast, it was five
meters away from him. It prepared to lunge at him. Adam had no choice. He dashed
like a horse, and leaped into the canyon.
His heart pounded rapidly. He never did such a thing. The author was building
a coffin his size. He cannot survive that large of a fall, “If this is my last words, I’m
going to obliterate you, Author.”
He splashed into the river, after his deadly accident. He was sinking steadily.
And who would’ve thought he was going to die? His eyes opened, and noticed his
soon-to-be-death thing. He gargled, and swam back up before running out of his
breath.
The stream carried him out of the desert, and through the outskirts of Dame
City. He was glad that he was out of the woods. No more beasts and policemen to
deal with.
Well, he was right about beasts, but not the policemen. Adam Chin was caught
by the city outskirt guards.
“Adam Chin, you are under arrest, and sentenced to prison for life.” One guard
frowned, as he dragged Adam back to the city. Adam growled in frustration, and
stomped so hard, that it could break apart a water bottle.
“God damn it! You have the right to be silent, Chin!” The other guard demanded,

STEP 2: PRISON SENTENCE
Spoiler: show
Clang! The guards tossed Adam hard into his cell. Adam had wore prison clothing,
that made him look like a complete goof. Both his shirt and pants were orange, and
with a slight touch of pink.
He tried to escape before the cell door locked, but the guards shoved him to the
back of the room. Rows of floor dust flew across the cell, as Adam crashed to the
floor. It wisped over his head.
The friendly guards gave him a fierce look. Their teeth gritted, like their jaws, and
their eyes melted dust, like a thousand suns raining down on the world. Adam
seemed scared, and backed away from them.
“Wh—what’s up, Antonio, and Danny?” He asked, stammering.
“Adam, you—we had ENOUGH of your ANNOYANCE today!” Danny screeched,
“You keep escaping after we put you in jail EIGHT times, and attempting to steal the
legendary four-leaf clover on Cabbage Hill.”
Adam’s voice faltered, “I wasn’t going to steal it for bad, I—“
Antonio growled savagely, “Tell it to the Judge, Chin! I’m not that dumb. You are
going to abuse it for evil.”
Adam tried to prove he was going to use it to save the environment. Both guards
rejected every one. They sighed tiredly.
“Won’t you please?” Adam begged, hoping for a yes.
“Negative!” Danny snapped sternly, “Now wait, as we make our final decision.”
Adam scratched on the titanium bars, but it was no use. The bars are stronger than
him (obviously).
He wasn’t patient, and therefore hollered, “HURRY UP, I CANNOT STAND THIS!”
They ignored him, gave him a long look, and continued to make their decisions.
“What do we do with him?” Danny whispered, asking.
“Maybe…court! He can be sentenced to court.” Antonio suggested, smiling
brilliantly.
“Great idea, Antonio. Good thinking!” They came over to Adam, and discussed
terms with him.
“Hey, Adam. You are allowed to be free.” Antonio said nicely, “Only if you are able
to not steal the clover on Cabbage Hill.”
“Sweet! Deal.” Adam turned his frown upside down, as Antonio released Adam’s
cell, “Ha! Fooled you, I—“ Danny hand-cupped Adam, and zapped him with a knock-
out pen, lasting for 5 minutes. He dragged him onto the parking lot, and threw him
into Antonio’s police car. Danny started the engine.
