Iciroth stood at the top of the peak, looking down at the surrounding cities. The air was crisp and cold, perfect conditions in his mind. He set his backpack down and broke a chunk of rock from the ground. He studied it carefully, then whispered to himself, "Perfect." Iciroth put the rock down and dug around in his backpack, eventually pulling out a black rod.

"Quite the expensive peice of equipment you have there, isn't it, Iciroth?" questioned a voice from behind. Iciroth, surprised, charged his energy into his hand and turned around. The teenager behind him watched Iciroth, surprisingly unaffected by the cold.

"Delcarlo. What're you doing up here?" Iciroth asked.

"I'm here to finish my father's job." Delcarlo reached to his side, dragging out a twisted stick, dyed to match the sky's brilliant blue. As Iciroth knew, however, this was no ordinary stick. Delcarlo pointed the stick at Iciroth, saying, "The Annihilation Empire will never prevail."

Iciroth replied quickly, "And you think you can stop us? Team Lightning..." Iciroth scoffed, "Those pitiful fools were killed!"

"I am Wind Delcarlo, the son of two elemental masters!" Wind charged elemental energy into the tip of his stick, "I will make sure you will not escape from this"

Iciroth made the first move, quickly acting to freeze Wind, and said, "You'll regret ever coming up here. I'm going to destroy everything you care about!"

Wind rolled to the side quickly, summoning to his aide a creature known as the Stormchaser. He replied to Iciroth's comment, saying, "You have already done that, Iciroth."

Iciroth quickly countered Wind's summon, them ran and froze Wind himself. "I'll let you live. Be thankful I don't kill you now." Iciroth summoned a dragon, ordering it to take Wind to the base of the mountain.

Iciroth walked back over to the rod he pulled out. With a tap on the ground, the rod extended into a javelin-type object. Alone at last, Iciroth stabbed it into the ground, then said to himself, "You'll all know the power that the pinnacle stores." Iciroth emptied the other contents of his bag onto the ground around the javelin. Each one of them transformed into a different object, and Iciroth thanked the engineer that designed the device.

Looking at a sheet of paper, Iciroth built the device. Looking at his finished product, he smiled. Shooting some energy into the device to get it started, Iciroth watched. Lightning started to strike around Iciroth. Iciroth thought, "Emperor, I hope you're ready," as he began to decend the mountain.
