Z - Introduction Scene

The flicker of a small flame in the pinch of a dark voide. The heating of metal over that small flame. Then the unreasonable. She presses the metal deep into her gentle skin. Burn marks show where she punishhes herself. She uses her tears to help cover the burns, but it just keeps suzzling.
Katy has successfully made a torture room. Now the voices are spinning around in her mind; "Just go hang yourself!", "You'll never have any friends", "It's amazing you haven't slit your throat by now. More tears and less patience force the metal deeper and deeper into her skin. Soon the epidermis melts away and pure flesh meets the hot hairclip. an enslaved scream shatters the void's unsettling quietness. Then she faints, with the hairclip still touching her veins.

Okay, this is the intro scene to a novel I'm writing called "(If You Want To Live, Then Read) Z", or just "Z".
It is for anyone who's on the verge of committing suicide, because I know people out there are, and I want to help them.
But how could I possibly help them all? By writing a story for them. A story that will hopefully change their minds about what they're about to do.

But you ask yourself, "why does it make sense to write a horror novel for suicidel people?" The answer, my friends, is the story itself. When I finish chapter one I will [hopefully] post it here. It will be long since it will be a real novel, so have patience.
