Kim's Poems- Poetry of the Ignored Peace

Postby Kimonio » January 31st, 2010, 3:12 pm

Here they are! Yes I have Dimotri going, but when I rest, I may write a poem.

Be warned....they have mild language in them......

Crusher(my first and most favorite cat ever)

I stare out into the open, a star shining bright.
I sit on the dew-dropped grass, staring into the night.
A cat is next to me, in spirit it always will stand.
Protecting me, guiding me,
Through this unpredictable land....

He watches its decendants and warns me when there is danger,
He watches me and guides me, releasing me of my anger.
In school, when being bullied, he gives me the strength I need,
He keeps me safe from harm and death,
My favorite cat....my angel steed...

Duke

I remember years ago when we brought to our home.
Everyday you'd jump the fence and with Daisy you would roam.
When our chickens escaped and I needed them caged, you cornered them with your growls.
It gave me courage and happiness
Since it was fiercer than cats' yowls.

I remember how we always played, how we always had a race.
I remember that you escaped alive from every danger that you faced.
When you were hit by that speeding truck, you only coming to greet me.
Your soft red fur, that loving smile,
It always means that you love me...

Killer the Rooster

The smallest yet the meanest, you were always mean to me.
I still have the scars you gave, and they will be here for history.
You never liked the head rooster and soon became fowl assassin.
The others got stuck in the fence,
All due to your cruel sins.

You brainwashed the others, and soon escaped to freedom.
The others...who knows what happened, but I've never even seen 'em.
One day when you pecked your last peck, I chased you away with a stick.
I will never ever be brainwashed ever
by your mean tricks.

My Art

It brings my pleasure of the world out on a single sheet of paper.
Ink or lead, it never really matters.
Castles, forests, ancient Japan,
It is always what the pencil wants,
Used in my drawing plans.

The paper isn't even art worthy, it is just paper for the school.
Yet paper doesn't matter, says the art's golden rule.
My emotions flow through each detailed stroke, and on computer art programs it is just the same.
When a pencil and paper are in front of me,
My anger will always remain tamed.

Midnight

Not a minute early, not a minute late.
The darkness covers the earth, just like food covers a plate.
The sky is filled with millions of stars, each with a different story.
The sky, the moon, and time itsself
All tell the history.

Earth

Twinkle, twinkle, little Earth,
Home of all the mortal birth.
The rest home of the homeless,
The house of all the greed,
What is it that everyone needs?

You provide the shelter, the protection of the blest,
Yet people tend to never rest.
No more treasuring,
Only torturing to blame.
Things will now always be the same.

Technology

What more can you wish for as you search the wonderful Web,
When the typing is the key with each careful step?
It's the Internet, the door upon all sites,
The basic plot to all that are never wrong, but right.
The main phrase is to "Surf it!",
But there is always another way.
Because with a click of the mouse, a punch of a button,
The chair will always be there to stay.

Stupidity in a Genius

When you are a genius, with the world watching you,
You find yourself thinking they do what you shall do.
You are the king, they are the serfs,
So what if you are younger? Who will cares about birth?

But think of it like this, yourself becoming stupid.
What would you do, if the stench of the brain is putrid?
If a high-school class is for you, but the answer you give is wrong,
And people soon consider you to be a dummy's ding-dong?

See, with intelligence comes a price, one wished not to be of having.
Yet, it is the genius's fatal flaw, the stupidity of attention-craving.
Life's a challenge, and it is what it is.
So enjoy being smart, for there is stupidity in a genius.

Time's a ♥♥♥♥♥

Time is a ♥♥♥♥♥, but there is nothing we can do.
For in the past of someone, we just say "screw you".\
Our lives have no freedom, our minds of the past,
I don't know how we manage to last.

Our lives are full of mistakes,
but it isn't completely due to us.
Controlling time is like going at the highest speed,
while driving a brake-less bus.

We can't scratch the past it,
for time is an endless itch.
Men and women have no control over life,
For Time is a spoiled ♥♥♥♥♥.

Phrase

Phrases are the key of life,
The Treasure no one wants.
The immortal eyes always forgotten.

A clue to behaving and living safe,
And a tip of what to do.
Obeying and saying every day,
This will make the new "you".

You see, a phrase is the speech of the tongue,
The brain's oral thought.
Something spoken that others can learn,
One of importance, one that won't rot.

Treasure those phrases, your living clue to life.
For sooner or later, when time moves again,
You won't suffer sin and strife.

The first one was great.
It sounded like the cat was some super-hero though...
But it was great nonetheless.
