Brethren of Distance but Close Enough

Inspired by RedLink's topic, I figured I'd make little poems every once in awhile about different members here. Please don't request yourself or anyone. Just wait.

In fact, if you wish to contribute, go ahead. I don't mean to overshadow RedLink's FoA game, since his is a game. Mine's just for the art of it.

Here's poem 1!

Strange is the norm,
insanity is comfort.
Foolishness is harnessed, and used for brilliance.

What's wrong is right,
what's right is also right.
But take the wrong and change it to macabre righteousness.

A view seeming warped,
a mindset seeming idiotic.
Either moronic or possessing wisdom we don't.

Underestimated intelligence,
hidden bravery.
But it's never talked about because it's routine.

Seemingly cracked,
seemingly ridiculous.
But maybe viewed in the wrong sort of light.

Doing everything wrong,
doing everything thoughtless?
Or doing everything in a new brand of right?

Yeah, I also really liked this poem. I will admit that some of the wording felt a little off, but I'm not too worried about it; after all, every poem has its own unique style. And I applaud your stanza structure--very creative. Also, if I'm interpreting things correctly, your third stanza in particular was quite clever in its diction.

Just cause I don't structure my poems in typical fashions, and cause you'd be confused otherwise.

He
does not
pretend to
be the strongest
of all of us here.
Perhaps that makes
him braver
than we
are.

human
with real flaws
who does not try
shroded masquerades
to sculpt a man
create one
who's not
him.

He
creates
inspired
by everything
Takes advantage of
the moments and
the trials
and the
songs.

At
his best
at his worst
in his madness
and in his sanity
in his sadness
in his glee
he is
human.

With
distance
between us
we find it fit
to put on a show
but he resists.
