Invisibility

There was no love stronger than the love they felt. Every moment they shared together, it was paradise. But this love had a flaw: it was wonderful, but none of the lovers knew that. They were unsure about themselves. They were unsure about what the other felt for him or her.
They used to walk across Los Bosques de Palermo, a very big, beautiful park. They never spoke a word during those walks. She was looking at the floor, he was looking at the clear, blue sky. Both sat close to a tree all day, were they remained silently, hoping for their feelings to pop out.
But they never did. All day long, they never looked at each others eyes; they just remained in silence.

Days passed, and eventually they got married through the presseaure of their parents. During the wedding day, neither him or her looked at each other. They were hoping things to happen quickly, very quickly. That day, the usually clear sky became grey, as well as the grass, who will never grow again.

They bought a house in Recoleta. Maybe it was their red walls, or their black tables, but both felt that one of them was going to die soon. And those predictions that were born from love never missed.

Months passed, but nothing else. The grass was still dead, and the sky was still grey. Nothing happened. Finally, the last day of one of them came. They knew it. There was no doubt. Their love now become hate. Dark, evil, pure hate. Even when the last day came, none of them could tell the other about their feelings, they were just walking silently, trying to hide their nerves.

I appeared in the park. I was wearing my hood, so it was clear somebody was going to be dead that day. They were sitting under that tree. I walked towards them. They recognized me.
"It seems I can't kill you. You are already dead" and I left.
