"Hello world!" is what default NPCs say when they're not set to say anything. That's a little disappointing, I guess, but okay.

Does anyone have any clue what the NPCs on the first level say? I'm assuming what they say will be default too, but it'd be nice atleast to see someone get there. lol

(By the way, yes, I'm aware they're stuck in a room, but I imagine there's some silly way someone'll manage to get there or something. Probably also notable that that general area looks pretty similar to the floating area above the start in the Dissonance level. No idea if that has any significance, really.)

It is the most underwhelming secret message of all time, lol. EXCEPT THAT IT GIVES YOU THE EXCALIBUR!!! For most people working with a new programming language or platform; you are supposed to make "Hello World!" appear as a first test to learn the ins and outs, at first I was like... wth that sucks. But then I get this super weapon and I'm like "YEEEEAAAAH, worth it!".

I am assuming for the NPCs on level 1 they say the exact same thing BECAUSE there is an invisible wall in the same place as level 1. I am assuming that this was just a copy paste from level 1 but with some parts missing to make these guys accessible. I wish that there were more NPCs in-game. But i thoroughly enjoyed the game.

Excalibur? I didn't know that existed in the game. Did you just get that by talking to the NPCs?

You have to talk to the blonde one, yeah. The other guy doesn't do anything. It's a bit like Masamune but it's gold.

Pretty insane. O.o Might have to go ahead and farm Winged Boots so I can upgrade my Winged Boots a bit more...

(By the way, what level would you reccommend before attempting the jump to get to the NPCs? I'm on +8 now I think. I just wanna know if I'm close or not really. lol)

I told someone at kongregate and they tried it without hacks. He says at LEAST 50.

50? That really can't be right. O.o I'm barely a block's height away from making the jump. I can't need 42 more upgrades to make ONE block's jump... *eyeroll*
