SM63 Sequel

I know that there is already a sequel, Super Mario Sunshine 64, but no offense to Runouw, but the game wasn't all that great. I also know that he's working on Last Legacy, so he can try these ideas out after LL's release. Anyways...the sequel should include either levels from Sunshine or levels from the Galaxy games. Plus it should also have a decent name. What do you think?

I'm ninja'd, I want to post this. I'm going to join. :D
Since we're screaming for new enemies or what, why don't we make the sequel ourselves? What we need is aprovement of Runouw and the GM (Global Mod), of course we've to screenshot the spirits. Since he's working in LL, we've to do it ourselves.

To make it ourselves is to code it ourselves. And I think there are only like 3 people that have flash; all, not as good as Runouw. A sequel should be at least as good, if not better, than an original, right? (Unless it's a movie sequel, or Mario Galaxy)

Also, SMS64 came BEFORE SM63. In fact, SM63 was the remake of SMS64. Runouw realized how much his first try sucked(no offense) and completely remade it, as SM63. Therefor, your argument is invalid, JStunn. :troll:

I'd like a sequel too. I know it is probably never going to happen, but hey. I need a good, complete, adventure/action/platformer fangame that can get me hooked for a year or two. More, even.
A lot of games I've played recently had me interested, but not long enough for me to stick with very long. At least I still used the Level designer after I finished story mode, and for like a year, too.

I'll post my imaginary ideas later. :P

I think there should be a sequel, but doesn't this belong on the suggestions board? :blab: __ :blab:
Anyway, I think it would be nice to have some non-mario music, or maybe make bosses besides bowser and kamek?
A boss battle vs. Link would make a nice secret boss, right? (quote me if you agree, please.)
I would also like to be able to put bosses in the level designer. Block bosses and the Big bully get old after a while. no offense to anyone who creates block bosses, they rock for taking the time. :awe:

Suggestion Here:
After Mario Defeated Bowser, the pieces of the orb hit the Planet of confidence in the galaxy. While Mario's having celeebrations with princess, something falling down.



Princess peach, "You can finally eat your cake!"
Mario (face turn purple),"But I think it looks like a kinda excrement more"
Toad,"Don't kidding now! Eat it!"
Mario (face turn even purple) (eating)
While Princess run to Mario and try to touch with lips with Mario, something happen in the sky....
Mario,"Wow! A falling star!"
Toad,"But I think it isn't....it is a meteor! Run!"
Mario,"Wait! I've to take my shine sprite!"
Toad,"Don't take them, let them go, life is most important!

Mario deosn't listen to toad and take the shine sprite out.

Level 0-1: The Meteor
Objective: Take the Shine in 1 minute without get hit of Meteor.

When princess had seen Mario get in the castle, she was worry of Mario and she went in the Castle.

Mario come out and take all the shine!
Mario,"Hey Peach, lets' go, I've take all the shine sprite! He...Princess?"
Toad,"MARIO! PEACH GOT IN THE CASTLE AND SHE"S GOING TO FIND YOU!"
Mario,"How to save her?"
Toad,"Use your shine sprites on your hand!"

Mario,"I need your help too! Have you seen Princess Peach?"
BK,"Yes, a Green-shelled dragon with strike at his back have taken Peach."
Mario,"Dang Bwoser! Yes, where's that guy?"
BK,"I only know he escaped at the star room"
Mario,"How can he escape there? I've taken all the shine!"
BK,"Wait, you've only take 63 shine sprites!"
Mario,"Oh, he use the power of the shine sprite to try to switch the power of orb!"
(Something black in the side of the margin of the world)
BK,"Oh, look like the painting is burning! We've to escape this painting!"

Maybe... Which reminds me, I would like to have characters that can be talked to in the level designer. Sign after sign after sign have to be placed if you want anyone to say anything in SM63
And Mr. L would be killer!
:/maybe there's a way to build a beta for the 0-1 0-2 etc... if it's ok with Republic I'll go make them. Otherwise I'll add my own on.

Nobody likes my Secret Link Boss Fight idea? :(

Ermmm.... Republic, not very good. First of all, Mario never talks. :s He didn't in SM63, so I don't think it would make sense in a sequel. Second, Planet of Confidence doesn't sound very, uh, menacing, or important. Third, you need a tutorial level. 0-4 sounds too hard for a first level. At that, SMG levels don't go by #-#. :o_O: The SMG games have a hub. Just like SM63, y'know?

RokStar, I don't think putting a character from another game is a good idea... It just seems to out of the ordinary. Maybe an original boss that makes a slight reference to Link.

If you don't listen to me, can I try it my own way? I'm not forcing think like me.

Hey, you have a point... and Maybe make it Super Paper Mario 63? Those go by #-#
Do whatever you want. Before I make a beta version in the level designer I want permission to use people's ideas. I don't wanna get hated because I "stole" an idea.
I'll continue to make my own.
And in the Paper Mario games, Mario kind of talks... he salutes the person and then they comment "so you say..." or something like that.
I'm about to go build the levels and say screw it, though.
