Hey everyone,
I've been working on a new level called Enemy Desert which hopefully will be finished shortly.
Also I'm planning to do a level series with each one speaking a different language, deliberately. Although English & Welsh are the only languages I know fluently so all those levels will have been put through Google Translate. (I'm not putting a level for Welsh) This is just a warning for the people on runouw who have Spanish, Portuguese, Romanian etc as their first language or know the language fluently. Because it might not be very accurate or make much sense. BUT I'm the only person in my French class who can get away with using Google Translate on my work because I'm the only one who puts a lot of effort into trying to make it very accurate. (also please tell me if this idea's been done before so I know in advance before I start planning the level) (please don't copy this idea, even if it takes a couple of months before I can really get down to making it)
I'm going to start off with a tester level in my own made-up language but it's going to be very easy to translate. It's just a backwards language, where everything is spelt backwards. The name for this is going to simply be:
MP3 World Level Tester. Then when I start the actual level series, these are the names:
MP3 World I: Español. (Spanish)
MP3 World II: Français. (French)
MP3 World III: Italiano. (Italian)
MP3 World IV: Deutsch. (German)
MP3 World V: Nederlands. (Dutch)
MP3 World VI: Íslenska. (Icelandic)
MP3 World VII: Român. (Romanian)
MP3 World VIII: Português. (Portuguese)
MP3 World IX: Polski. (Polish)
MP3 World X: Norske. (Norwegian)All of these are European languages because I'm from the UK and they're the ones I'm most familiar with.
I've also taken care not to use any languages that use symbols instead of normal letters, such as Greek, Russian, Japanese or Chinese etc..
Please tell me your thoughts on the idea.. I also know that Bogdan will probably know Romanian, NanTheDark, Usu and a few others will know Spanish and that panamaboy and other LDP users will know Portuguese. But I promise I'll try my best to get the levels as accurate as possible.
