Deep-Shallow Water Test

I have found a way to change the water level WITHOUT having Runouw to add a water switch. However, this method has its restrictions.

This level is just a test of this idea. Nonetheless, it is still quite in-depth.

It has been done numerous times already, since what you did was essentially duplicate the level 2-3 times with different water levels in each one. It just takes effort / patience to achieve it, which is why most want an easy solution. Just about any transformation can be done in this way, really.

This did take me a while to finish, and I should be proud. And I have mentioned that this has its restrictions, like exposing coins. My problem with showing collectible coins is that if you obtain them at one water level, they'll remain at the others. I did this with 1-Up Mushrooms because I thought it would make more sense (I made it make sense).
A bigger restriction with this is the size of the level. It could easily become a godly loading time bomb, and not to mention reaching the size limit (Code editing lets you go over it, but then there is this glitch that causes an endless stream of stubborn tiles.).

Off the top of my head,
Wet Cave by Star King - Traverse to the end of the level when its dry, enter a pipe to flood the level, return back to attain a star that you can now reach thanks to the raised water level.
Savage Labyrinth by me (one chamber specifically) - Entering doors alternates the level between dry and flooded, basically offers a puzzle format revolving around this.

Everyone remember OoT's Water Temple? Well, this game's counterpart, Great Bay Temple, manages to be even more confusing.

In The Legend Of Zelda Majoras Mask, the Great Bay Temple features a complicated series of switches, currents, waterfalls that must be frozen and thawed, etc. The crowning evil of this dungeon would be that in the second room there are three switches. Pressing the wrong ones reverses the current in the entire level, making it impossible for you to proceed until you return to hit them again. Also of note is the fact that almost the entire level is based around hitting switches that are blocking barely visible water flow through multicoloured pipes, and you must follow the pipes to find the next switch, despite their aggravating habit of exiting through doors that can't be opened from this side. The real kicker for the Great Bay Temple (and whole game) is that you have a time limit. In the other games, you could just keep bashing things in different ways all night long until you got past.
