Hmm... Wood and leaves are tough. Maybe you could try using portions of the Big Tree's trunk and leaves?

Yeah, that's what I've been trying. I can't get any portion of the trunk to be able to line up with itself.

You might have to do some crazy editing, like how I made the ladders; I used fence posts and edited them together into a ladder. Honestly there's not a whole lot of options, since the trees in LL weren't meant for 3D; they're mostly too small, and the ones that aren't wouldn't fit together properly.

I don't think the mushrooms fit well, but the log fits in well.

I know the red one is too bright. I'm fixing that now. What about the brown one?

Yeah, the brown ones are fine. Also, I would recommend editing some white spots onto the red mushroom, because... you know.

The logs look like dirt

I'm with Raz on this one. The logs don't look like wood, they look more like a bunch of dirt chunks that have been squished together.

The tilesize is 32x32, correct? I may try to edit something for you that might look better.

EDIT: Here, maybe this will look better. I took a portion of the Big Tree and edited it: Image

What I do is paste two 32x32 images lined up right next to each other horizontally and manually edit it using a color palette. So yeah, a bit of custom work. Don't try to shape it into something that isn't a block, that's my only advice. Trees aren't one block tall, after all.
