Helping Runouw

Postby Americankid » July 14th, 2013, 6:26 pm

You know, I am hearing that new profiles are registered, but they don't even use them(well some). There are too much. So I think if someone isn't using the profile for a year, let the Administrator delete it. It still okay if it say "Posting Overrated".

Make Runouw not be like the other websites. Like others, they have adults act like kids to trick them.

This is my only favorite website.

This seems nice but I think this would be unconsiderate for the users who only register to post levels.

Karyete: Seriously, what is your problem? And not only that, you fail to even acknowledge you might be in some wrong here.
Karyete: Oooh it's you? Hello. Feel free to drop this right now. You're going to make yourself look like an idiot.
Karyete: We don't want to hear your opinion at this stage.
Karyete: You're not getting any apology, especially after now.

Well, with the new system, they'd be technically posting when they upload a level, wouldn't they? So really, the only ones being deleted would be the spambots and the older level portal users that never found the forums. Pruning sounds like a nice way to make sure our userbase is legit

The obvious spambots are ones with names like x73vuife45 or some kind of product in the name, like uggs.

It would take ages to just delete them anyway, but I do see what you mean.
Also, yes, Suyo is actually an admin.

I don't think it would be right to delete all the inactive users though, for example, darthbrowser has been a member since 2009 and didn't post until this year. If people remember their usernames, I don't think there is anything wrong with keeping them there. They may decide to use them further into the future. I sometimes do the same- make accounts on websites where I think they will come in useful, but don't use my account till around a year later when I finally feel the need to. Been a bit like that with upload sites more than anything though.

I think it becomes a problem when there are lots of accounts postcounting, but I'm sure the Glomods and Admins like Amp, Buff, and Suyo can take care of them.

And if you delete accounts that have been inactive of alot of months, I wouldn't be here anymore because before I came back earlier this month, the last time I was here was around August or September '12, which was about a year ago.

You know you wanna watch it.....

Oh, what I meant was pruning users that haven't posted at all. Like a year countdown until their account is deleted. Naturally, you'd be able to reregister if your account was deleted. If you don't post at all, you don't post something that's against the rules, either. The only problem with this would be people that used the old level portal, but it's pretty obvious that few people that used it have stayed.

Sorry that I was mad, it's just that I do not want Hackers or Perverted(as spammers)to be in this website. I just read the other rule what spammers are.I don't remember who wrote that but here is
Words that people I do not know:
  • Please be my friend
  • Please rate my levels.
  • Say hi(unless it's in the welcome thing)
And also they say hi to (Your name), even they do not know you.

I'm sorry? Saying "hi" to members on a site you're new to is perfectly in bounds.
