Seitokai Yakuindomo is getting a second season, so hype!
First impressions on some of this season's anime? I've watched the first (and second, depending on the series) episode(s) of Golden Time, Coppelion, NouCome, Non Non Biyori, Kill la Kill, and LB: Refrain.
Golden Time looks like the Romance/Slice of Life of the season right now. A good balance of laughs and serious moments in between, an attractive main girl that doesn't like being avoided because of her beauty, and different setting from the norm; a university rather than a high school.
Coppelion is rather slow paced at the moment, though that may just be me. More likely, it's due to the quiet and desolate setting. Action is sparse at the moment, but I expect it to pick up soon. The scenery is beautiful and the character stand out against the background well enough. There is a severe lack of background music (that or it's unnoticeable) and I think it's too emphasize said scenery, but I don't think it's a good choice. I expect more characters to appear in the next episode or so(the OP shows what seems to be a team of rivals or villains); 3 consistent characters is not enough.
NouCome is interesting, but it's ridiculous situations make me pause every few seconds. I doubt it's going to let up with that. Main girl was barely introduced, so I expect her to be the focal point of episode two.
Non Non Biyori is boring in most standards, but I'm going to stay with it because it reminds me of Higurashi, with the rural setting, extremely small class, and transfer student from the city. By no means do I think it's going to have any plot or character development. It's charming for me though. It's hard for me to hate anything.
Kill la Kill is some funny ecchi ♥♥♥♥. I like it. I don't have to think about it.
LB: Refrain is a bit hard to tackle with a first impression since it's a direct sequel. so far it looks like it's going to follow last season's recipe, and that would make sense. Riki's narcolepsy and Kyousuke leaving is probably going to have more presence, along with the main routes that are left.
I had to type this twice because of some crappy website time out so I apologize if there is any grammatical/spelling errors, or if some of this is not clear.
