The Tyranny Of House Magi

GALZE

The door led you to a long horizontal hallway, with several other doors here leading to the rooms of the other students. You've been working so hard, you just noticed that it was already the afternoon. Maybe you overslept from working too hard last night but didn't notice and thought it was morning? Whatever, that big, brown clock in front of you continues to taunt you by telling you that YOU ARE LATE.

Now, now don't panic. You might get to the class in time if you run fast enough. You remember it's downstairs, right in the front entrance of the Academy. After starting to make your way, it the hall gets much colder. Sunset District is known for this, it's always really cold in winter due to being up in the sky, it's even worse here in the Academy for being even higher up. Maybe you should go back and grab a sweater...? Or is class more important?


DUSTIN

The two men get off the walls they were standing by and began to slowly make their way to you. In a tough, demeaning manner one of them raises his head in a 'what's up' manner and says,"Yeah?" Heh, it almost looks like this guy is about to punch you. But that won't happen, right? Right?
The other one seems to stay behind him, keeping one of his hands in his back pocket...

AERO

(Fixed.)

Making your way across, you come to a halt behind a set of crates. Your follower does the same thing. Quiet little fellow, he hasn't said a single word. Though after watching the fight you notice that the other similar soldiers don't say anything either, even after Ralio beats them up.

House Magi's Turn

Ralio is surrounded by four soldiers. He steps back a bit and calls out,"Wrong move, pal." With that he throws four different shocks of thunder, each hitting one of the soldiers.

Each soldier: -35

Trainer's Turn

The zombie-like soldiers gang up on Ralio.

The first one throws a freezing spell on him.

Ralio: -60

The rest spam fire.

Ralio: -210

The attack was too much for Ralio, and he falls to the floor. The helicopter hovering over him draws out a ladder. The problem, however, is that the Trainers seem to want to continue attacking, and they were not programmed to do so, well that's what you heard from someone in the copter.

House Magi's Turn

Someone is being sent out of the helicopter to retrieve Ralio. What do you do?


KAREN

Your hands are bound together, it's impossible to pick up the wrench from here.

The other prisoners look at you. Finally after a while Winters says,"We have several options here. We can wait for that boy up there to come back... He might help us. Or we can wait until it's evening and commence with my original plan."
Ashel looks over at you and asks,"Any ideas?"

[For a second I thought I had killed myself for real. I was actually half-expecting that to happen. ]

Before taking any other action, Ryunka takes a peek to what's happening inside the train now.

"W-what do you expect me to do? I can't reach my wrench from here, and that's what got us out last time."

RYUNKA

You peek through one of the windows by climbing back down the wall. You notice that the guards aren't in the room anymore, and the prisoners are locked in there.
That engineer girl... And Commander Winters... Everyone who was hurt in the last fight were locked to their seats again, injuries not treated. Some of them look miserable...
Wait, the guards are gone!? That can only mean they-
"Over there! On the wall!" One of them yelled out as you see the group of guards climb out of the door on the roof.
"Stop!" They yell out.

KAREN AND RYUNKA

The train began to close in to the Underground Edge entrance. Everything goes dark once it leaves the district and enters the Grand Castel.
Nothing can be seen at all except for rapidly passing white lights on the walls and the front lights on the train itself. Strange noises are heard in the distance, high pitched squealing noises that send shivers down your spine. They say the House conducts horrible experiments on the prisoners here. Just a rumor though, which you never believed in. The sounds just... Reminded you of this.

RYUNKA

This is bad. You can't see. The good news is the guards can't see either, but who's the one climbing on walls here?

KAREN

Everyone keeps quiet after the train enters the darkness. They all listen to the noises. Winters said,''Damn it! Getting out of hell is going to be hard."
Ashel asked,"What do you propose we do?"
The bald man sitting to the right said,''Well we can't get out of here while being locked to chairs."
One of the prisoners mentioned he wanted to go to the restroom. This got Winters thinking about something.
Ashel then said,"And that boy. He can't possibly help us by being out there in the dark..." Everyone stayed quiet. Ashel then mentioned he was hungry and hasn't gone without eating this long in his life.
Eventually Winters said,"We have to go to the restroom sometime, right? And i'm sure they don't want us stinking up the place so they HAVE to take us to the restroom."
The prisoner who wants to go to the restroom said,''I see where you're going with this."
"Right," Winters said,"One of us must tell the guards to take us to on a restroom break, but not to take a piss, instead that person breaks free from them. Now.. What to do once you're free. Any ideas?"

Can Ryunka get back into the train? Maybe he would be more helpful in there, especially since the guards are on the roof...

In that case, Ryunka gets back inside as silently as possible.

Otherwise... He'll try to avoid the guards on the roof, laying low.

[Megar]

"Well, I still have my wrench. I'll say I need to go and hit them with it. Magic or not, taking steel to the face and staying perfectly fine isn't exactly easy." Karen nods. "When we're free... I've got nothing."

[Harmless]

"Well, ♥♥♥♥. This don't look good. All right pal, here's how we're going to do this. Hold your fire for now until explicitly mentioned."

Aero jumps from the crates, picks up Ralios, and tries to find cover with him immediately.

"If you can hear me, hold your fire! I come in peace, and this guy is my client!"

(Aero uses Eloquent Ambassador as she tries to hide with him.)

Ignoring the gesture, Dustin in a calm demeanor, "Would you know where this 'CORPSE' thing is? I've got some... issues to deal with them."

RYUNKA AND KAREN

Ryunka makes his way back inside the train.
"That was fast." Winters said.
"What happened?" Ashel asked.
"Never mind that! Boy, hurry up and free us with that girl's wrench," The right bald man says as he points at Karen and her wrench,"Quickly before the guards notice you're gone."

AERO

"Wh-who are... You?" Ralio looks at you. From here you can see his actual face for once, pale white skin and dark hair. A brown cloak, white clothes. He tries to pull away from your grasp but stops after his injuries hurt him even more.
The four soldiers slowly walk towards you, but a group of House Magi soldiers drop down from the helicopter and fight them off. A man arrives, he holds out his hand and takes Ralio away from you. "Name's Max." He says. "May I ask who you are?"

DUSTIN

"You look rich." One of them says."Give us your money." The other one said.

"All of it." They seem to ignore the CORPSE question and instead the one behind the other man pulls out a knife from his pocket.

"I don't have time for this," Dustin says as he pulls out his dagger. "Are you going to answer my question or am I going to have to beat it out of you?"
