He's using an FTB-themed resource pack which makes references to stuff from FTB (nanosabers SUCK)

obviously lol. Nanosabers (which are actually diamond swords in this) are really ♥♥♥♥ in FTB, yeah. I just hadn't seen what the iron sword was yet. I even gave ideas for a few things. Speaking of which you should change "iridium" to industrial diamonds or something since iridium is really gross anyway.

Due to unforseen nature of fellow Legion of Black Sparrow guildsman Lieutenant "Master", it is withheld by the Colony of Purity and Neverglade that a war is called. All parties involved must agree to the terms of war set by the continent in whole, as well as terms of war set individually by each guild. As such, by law of the Legion, any individual who attacks a rival guild wages war individually, and the fate of the guild is to not be held accountable in terms of war. If war is waged on any Legion member other than that who is accountable, the guild will retaliate on all parties involved. If all terms are met, and agreed upon, carry forth.

So uh, ♥♥♥♥ happened?

I've been playing my favorite game "Pretend you're an IT guy" the entire time I've been here, and now there appears to be functional internet. Too bad we're headed back tomorrow yaaaaay.

Anyway, for some reason scheduled events in console aren't executing. Server isn't restarting once daily, it isn't issuing warnings, and apparently isn't saving backups. I did copypaste the world folder directly to my desktop, though (I like seeing the file rather than relying on a program saying it should be there, when it apparently wasn't), and that's what I used to restore the backup. It seems likely that the region data corrupted, but I can't access my laptop remotely (just console) so that will have to wait till tomorrow to be confirmed.

It seems you guys have gone right ahead and restarted anyway, though, so I won't try to restore it in NBTEdit or anything unless it becomes very important, but I'm sorry for whatever (a mistake on my part or otherwise) caused this. Hopefully nobody is too broken up over it.

As for me, I'll probably join Sparrows, I guess. They seem most in line with my character's philosophies, anyway. May change after checking out the map and guild lists though.

Sparrows already has 5 people, which is more than any other guild. (although one of shade's friends hasn't been online at all) Which is already one more than the 4 player limit we already planned.



There hasn't been any sort of task whatsoever for backups since, get this, november 1st. I fixed this yesterday, and set it to save a backup every 3 hours. It's working now. And honestly, I really like this map and what we have set up for it and I'd prefer even if we had a back up to not go back to the old map. Most of us found the seed boring and the roelplaying and set up bad.

And the tasks for the daily restart don't appear to even work when I force the server to run them. So I made new ones. They appear to be working. But I refuse to sleep any later than 2 am so I'm not going to bother testing any further than I already did.
