What has started out to be my first level overall, has been greatly improved and extended by a sequel. This is a run through 30 common ways on how to make a level more difficult and more exciting. It's actually really hard, and the checkpoints in the levels are there to be used. If you can make any of these levels without dying once, congrats.
Part 1 (the original) has an extra silver-star challenge for pro's. You're allowed to cheat by moving all collected silver stars to the start position after reaching a checkpoint. Part 2 (the split-up sequel) doesn't have a silver star challenge. Are you ready for the challenge?
Part 1: the original
Part 2a: first half of the sequel
Part 2b: second half of the sequel

27th LDC entry, taking only second last place with an embarassing score of 10.25/20 because of being held back by a mass of flaws, bugs and inconvenient gameplay. Edits have occurred and now the series shines in a new garment, with better graphics and, hopefully, a more fluent gameplay. This is simply a Mario 63 adventure going through several areas and an undersea castle. Also this includes my first boss I've ever designed.
Prologue: From Peach's Castle to the sunken ghost ship
Part 1: From the sunken ghost ship to the undersea castle
Part 2: The finale in the undersea castle

The summary of the 25 best levels of 2011, aka WITBLO11. From each level, I've picked up one or even two transitions that I've found to reflect the specialness, awesomeness, gameplaywise uniqueness etc. of these levels, and each level has a description sign that tells you WHY THE ♥♥♥♥ HELL YOU SHOULD PLAY THESE LEVELS. As usual for these tributes, I didn't take any of the codes to recreate the transitions, yet I've removed some cutoff and added some invisible tiles to separate the transitions. Enjoy!
Part 1 (Levels #25 - #17)
Part 2 (Levels #16 - #9)
Part 3 (Levels #8 - #1)

An entry for the Halloween mini-LDC 2014, where cookies were avarded to all entrants. I've got the idea of a level with rising block challenges (aka: elevator challenges) by Volkove's Parallel Spires. There's a grand total of four in this level of variating difficulty. The first two ones just have rising blocks, while in the other two ones any contact with the blocks will be deadly. Between the hellish elevators, you can check out Boolord's castle and its scary surroundings. Boolord already plans his revenge
DIMENSIONS: 610x50, 453x60, 709x60
DIFFICULTY: MEDIUM (FOR RED COINS), EASY, HARD
COIN COUNT: 400, 350, 310
Got second in the 28th LDC with a score of 15.17 (yay!). It's a very long story-driven adventure with Runouw characters. Act 1 leads you from the edge of the city into it's interior, while you can skip various paths or visit each single one to collect 30 Red Coins (they're optional). In Act 2 we reach the top of the city and fly over the roofs to enter the castle, and in Act 3 the evil is finally vanquished. You can find the story dialogues and the Alt music here!
ACT 1 - The City
ACT 2 - Princess Amp
ACT 3 - The Castle

My shortest level at this point, made in three days, as a very belated Secret Santa gift for Yurimaster. Because it's gotta be his snowy forest, it's filled over and over with trees and other plants, and it's tiling also has got to be very unusual. Other than that, find all the 8 red coins, some of them are a bit hidden!
DIMENSIONS: 725x30
DIFFICULTY: MEDIUM (SPEEDRUN, OR FIND SECRETS)
COIN COUNT: 752
My level for Star king's Super Mario Countdown series. It's in West Australia, with plenty of rocks and canyons and desert-like ruins. Make your way through them and head over the bridges with using Turbo FLUDD, get past the clouds and grab the shine sprite in the old village ... okay, there are three shine sprites. A regular one, a skilly one (find all 5 red coins) and a speedy one (complete in 2:05). Sounds awesome, doesn't it?

Triple J has written LDing history by becoming the first member to reach 100 levels on the new level portal (both SM63 and LL). Even if he seems to retire from SM63 designing now, his legacy stays incredible. This summarizes the highlights of his skills, starting from his first noteworthy levels and climaxing in his remarkable WITBLO entries.
Part 1 - (Goomba Caves --> FLUDD Jetters Challenge)
Part 2 (Reflexium --> Endless World of Power-ups)
Part 3 (A call for Action --> Aquatic Breach)

A mini-sequel for Boolord's Castle for the 4th 25-squared contest, came in 7th out of 17. Your task is now to climb up the chambers as fast as possible without losing your star power. You have two shines to choose, a normal one and a challenge one. For the normal one, climb up with your invisibility cap in time. For the challenge one, enter the door instead and climb up again, but under different circumstances. Get ready for a hot speedrun!

Entry for the Runolympics LDC, which explains its dimensions. You've been sent into a dark unknown land and the exit is just to your right - but to reach it, you must perform a sort of "merry-go-round". Go left, keep going left, enter a small castle section, turn around, pass the switch challenge, and then go back on the roofs without falling down. Scored a 15.75, in a tie with my bae Jumbo101.
DIMENSIONS: 336x50
DIFFICULTY: HARD

My most successful level so far! This won a music duel against Harmless to the Disco Train theme of DKC2 with a 17.42, including a 19 score from MoD, it earned a whopping amount of nine 5-star ratings on the portal, and as a climax, it won the "Best Level" category at the Runouw Votes 2015/16! Explore a large bunch of mines, ride over the minecarts and pull coins out of some stray rocks. At the second half of this level, you'll even meet "dangerous carts" that you shall go around, and carts over deadly ground. Another challenge awaits you here. (sorry for atrocious loading time)
