The funny thing about that is it’s more useful testing codes on the GameShark, unless I can find a plugin that fixes the color effects and other graphics glitches on the ROM I use for emulation.
There are also inconsistencies when using some codes on the GameShark, such as image modifiers for immediately available objects and characters, etc. I literally had to craft such a specific combination of activators in order to achieve the desired effect on console. The trick won’t even work with anything other than characters.
You know when the GameShark number display thing spins rapidly when loading something, such as a game file? Yeah, it cannot perform constant writes during those processes. So when the GAME rewrites a value only available at certain points of the game, you usually cannot change it back in time.
Btw, I cannot tell which plugin I’m using right now - I’m waiting for my laptop to get fixed (it must of fallen on the floor one time too many).
EDIT: Fixed this post. It was rushed.
Also, my GameShark is getting closer to corruption, I know it.
Can I theoretically avoid the notorious glitch by deleting all added games but one? Will my codes not get messed up that way?
How am I still on-topic. Well, I plan to eventually repurchase the cord used to connect the GameShark to the PC. I lost my old one (which didn’t even come with the pins used to get that whatcha-call-it out).
I’ll probably end up having to buy another GameShark by then. :/EDIT2: Cringey post again.
