How about a darkness theme?

Example: Mario is sent to hell to kill the devil; The sun goes out and the world is taken over by demons; Mario is blasted to the far outskirts of the universe to battle a nightmare


Thoughts?

...That's kind of a whole level design, not a theme.

Crazy idea yet, not sure how you can make one, but what about a level based off of Pacman.

Well... at the "Tower" suggestion, it is filled with lots of mysteries and secrets to be found.

Numbah 1 is the weirdest thing I ever heard of, and Numbah 2 sounds like the first contest, fire and ice.

You shouldn't put RANDOM themes because a lot of the above are totally ridiculous. You should think a little more before posting theme.
