:(... Ok, something in the Mario theme? How about a Toad Town in the Mushroom Kingdom. You could create your own version of the mushroom kingdom, with a restaurant, shopping mall, jail, etc.
If that fails, ROBOT NINJA SUPER BATTLEZ!

1st Suggestion: Quite possible…on the old forum Toad Town was a big thing…it had like it's own topic and like there were twenty different versions of it, I think…don't remember it that well, but I know it was very popular.
2nd Suggestion: I hope you're joking.

As much as Robot Super Ninja Battles would be, I Have to disagree with it too. It would lag like Windows 95, and take forever to make. No only that, but a ton of the newer users would undoubtably have difficulties with all the precise adjustments to make it actually work... Sounds like a great boredom buster, though :awe:

Now that I'm thinking about it, the "Change" theme back on Page 68 sounds kinda complex, too... :?

I WILL think of a crazy theme that nobody has thought of, but works...
-How about Mario travels into your computer, and he has to survive throughout all of the files, and can appear on your screen.

-How about an underwater expedition? Like Atlantis?

-A level that requires not to be as good as possible, but as BAD as possible... Believe me. The people who are the best at something can also be the worst if they try.

-How about a remake of older Mario levels? The more complex the level is, like a Super Mario Bros 1-1 level vs. Super Mario Galaxy 2, Bowser's Fortified Fortress, the more points you get. The more accurate it is, also, the more points you get.

-Medieval village and castle?

-Cavemen?

-Secret Spy missions?

-A level saving the environment, like "Global Warming"?

-Ur mom? (No, just kidding.)

-How about one about dreams?

-Ok, this is my last one, flying... Just, something about flying... I don't know yet...

!?!REPLY: Fun. :awe: It will be adventurous if viruses like Trojan will try to chase you.

-How about an underwater expedition? Like Atlantis?

!?!REPLY: Great idea. We should use the Metal Power-Up to make sure that Mario doesn't drown. :awe:

-A level that requires not to be as good as possible, but as BAD as possible... Believe me. The people who are the best at something can also be the worst if they try.

!?!REPLY: Another great idea. I used to make crappy levels before. :awe:

-How about a remake of older Mario levels? The more complex the level is, like a Super Mario Bros 1-1 level vs. Super Mario Galaxy 2, Bowser's Fortified Fortress, the more points you get. The more accurate it is, also, the more points you get.

!?!REPLY: I can still remember the old Mario levels, good idea. :awe:

-Medieval village and castle?

!?!REPLY: Yes. Make the dragon the boss! :awe:

-Cavemen?

!?!REPLY: Yes. I am getting some idea. :awe:

-Secret Spy missions?

!?!REPLY: If this requires keyboard and ninja skillz, then yes. :awe:

-A level saving the environment, like "Global Warming"?

!?!REPLY: I've seen your level with this theme before, I'll try to research. :awe:

-Ur mom? (No, just kidding.)

!?!REPLY: Happy Mother's Day! :awe:

-How about one about dreams?

!?!REPLY: That will be awesome like a nightmare! :awe:

-Ok, this is my last one, flying... Just, something about flying... I don't know yet...

!?!REPLY: FUN!!! It's just like Flyff! :awe:

If we had the proper tiles, could work.

-How about an underwater expedition? Like Atlantis?
...Could work...

-A level that requires not to be as good as possible, but as BAD as possible... Believe me. The people who are the best at something can also be the worst if they try.
Seems to specific, easy to make, blah blah blah. Overall, not a great idea.

-How about a remake of older Mario levels? The more complex the level is, like a Super Mario Bros 1-1 level vs. Super Mario Galaxy 2, Bowser's Fortified Fortress, the more points you get. The more accurate it is, also, the more points you get.
Agree with that except for the points. Just because someone may design a neutral (Not good, but not bad) version of one level, while someone else would make a pretty outstanding one. Would it be fair to both get the same points?

-Medieval village and castle?
Could work...But we lack some tiles.

-Cavemen?
...Seriously?

-Secret Spy missions?
...Um, you mean just to make a normal level, but just making the player think it's a secret mission?...No.

-A level saving the environment, like "Global Warming"?
Sometimes I wish people understood that the LDC isn't just an Art Showcase.

-Ur mom? (No, just kidding.)
...*Grabs pencil and strikes that idea*

-How about one about dreams?
Could work...A twisted land where everything can happen...You may be at a disadvantage if you don't remember your dreams, though.

-Ok, this is my last one, flying... Just, something about flying... I don't know yet...
Temple In The Sky could work. This...Um, not so well. We don't have capes or stuff like that...Would be hard to make it work properly.

My messages in italics. And I'm not saying they're impossible to work out. I'm just saying it won't end up as well as planned. Rotating blocks are the only thing you can use to make stuff that isn't normally on the game, but then, you're limited to only moving and rotating. You can't do much with that, do you?

Read back at my previous post, !?!.

Blablob wrote:Okay, we're being a little rediculous here. Let's not forget that the designer was created for the sole sake of Mario levels. Cartoons and Musical Instrument themes sound....well, different, but they don't sound like anything that anyone can do for the Level Designer--except for the most superb designers. But for sake of attracting the most contestants, we need to keep these themes simple and accessible for everyone.
