Description:
The second major stage of Super Luigi Bros. Luigi and Mario meet up with Cassandra Belnades, a diplomat serving Princess Peach, who has recently returned from Sarasaland. As it turns out, Bowser's had his eye on the desert kingdom for quite some time - not to rule it, but to plunder it. Bowser intends to slay Princess Daisy to fulfill a legend and obtain a mystical sphere that will enable him to "chop down family trees" - and if he succeeds, the Mario Bros. are as good as dead!!!! Princess Peach snuck into a secret passage in Bowser's Castle to keep an eye on the Koopa King, and it turns out that Bowser's already got Daisy in his clutches!!!! Cassandra then reveals that Peach has informed her of the whereabouts of Bowser's Castle - it's in Dry Dry Desert. But in order to get in through the main gate and have a chance of going after Bowser, Luigi must collect three swords - the Winter Sword, Magma Sword, and Storm Sword - that can only be wielded by "the savior of Sarasaland." Without further ado, our heroes head out to Dry Dry Desert. They must ride a crazy river to reach the heart of the desert and get at the three temples. Anyways, this level is basically platforming over a river. It shouldn't be terribly difficult, thanks to the water acting as a safety net, though I'll admit it didn't turn out as well as I'd hoped. Just watch out for unwelcome surprises!!!
