So here's the Deal: I'm going to be gone from Friday of this week to July 21st, which will limit my activity. It shouldn't be a big deal since I'll only miss the art contest, which I would be no help in anyways. However, on August 21st I must head off to College, which will result in the limiting of my computer access, the destruction of the universe, and possibly inactivity on Runouw. I'm hoping that I'll be able to get back as quickly as possible, but with no college experience I don't know when that could be. So, there's that.

In all honesty, scheduling events to run into August and September sounds like a problem, since many of us will be heading to school of some sort...

If you have 3 or less classes this college semester you should be okay on time, college is pretty flexible and you can manage your own time.
Expect something cool here soon!

There are actually six places for the individual / open events, meaning that if a team has seven members (leader + 6 others), the 6 others can all be distributed to the individual / open events.

Every additional member will have to stay out of these events (as representatives at least), but their imput can still be very important for the team events. So, even if you're not a representative, try to be as contributive as you can! Plus, a larger number of members means more possibilities to pick the representatives especially for Gaming and CAH.

Of course I'll discuss the cast of representatives together with everyone else of my future team. In case if two or more members urge to be the representative of, lets say, Gaming or such, it will have to be decided by lot.

oh and meanwhile we're at 29 30

Rating standards: show
1 star: (0 - 5.75 in LDC) These levels need a lot of work. They're totally un-elaborated, and/or inherently flawed due to things like cutoff or enemy spam, or they're untested and there are too many bugs gameplay-wise, in short: Many many things went wrong in such a level.

2 stars: (6 - 9.75) These levels are not terrible, but poor. They're too short, lack scenery or they have errors and/or bugs but it's still barely enjoyable. Again, spend more effort and try to do better. (if it's your first level that I rate two stars, it's not bad. There's a long way you can still go)

3 stars: (10 - 12.75) These levels are about mediocre. They may be still a little bit short, the gameplay is fine but not very original and graphics are also solid, but not breath-taking. Try to keep improving!

4 stars: (13 - 15) These levels are nice, but not the best. Effort has been put into them, there can some professionality be seen in gameplay and graphics, they're a nice experience to play, but there are still things you can do to make it even better. Try to go the extra mile!

5 stars: (15.25 - 20) These are really great levels, those which, as said, I would give more than 15 in an LDC. These suffice many high requirements, and it already goes into subtleties if you want to make them better. These levels are successful all around. Bravo.

These are just general principles I try to follow when rating. Sometimes I don't leave a further comment when rating, most times I do, if you have questions about it, feel free to ask further.

I'll be able to do Family Feud, CaH, and the gaming tournament(Just gonna say this, if you're up against me in anything Mario, Sonic, Kirby, Pokemon, DKC, or Smash Bros, Prepare your anus. I'll probably get screwed if we do any Zelda games, though.) I'm not the best artist or level designer, considering I don't really play SM63 or LL anymore.

Just reminding you that there is no such thing as a leader. Being a team maker doesn't make you a team leader. A team leader will only be if the team as a whole decides it needs one after its creation. Being a team maker only grants you the ability to create the perfect team you want to be in and that's it. I'm not sure why so few people signed up as team maker actually. One or two more of them would make things easier, even more now that we have 5 teams. Just pointing that out.

Anyway I counted 29 entrants and Shroom 30. Just on case I checked and re-checked the topic and I can't find anyone missing. Just in case, if I did miss someone, say it now before it's too late.

If we have 29 entrants, a 30th one would be sweet.

uh oh

probably I was wrong because Yuri said first to sign up but then deleted his post

EDIT:

It apparently makes sense having someone to organize the distribution of representatives and the actions in the team event, aka a team captain or such. It doesn't necessarily have to be the team maker, though he would be an obvious choice for that.
