Can you take me off the team maker list, actually? I know there's another team needed now, but I realized a few days ago that I don't really want to have the pressure of picking people for a team on me.

Also, the task is to make the team, not lead it. The decision on choosing a leader is an OPTIONAL task of the resulting group.

I could have sworn I saw an explanation somewhere but maybe I'm crazy.

I would have guessed that they would be decided the same way you decided tribes. The only difference would be that ties get broken by a randomizer instead of by priority.
