These things can be about doings with the members on the forums, popular topics, interesting things on the chat, etc. Any user who is not going to spam or flame or break any other rules is allowed to be a "reporter" on Runouw.com News.

Our developing story is the continued drama of TheBetterGamer. He was perma-banned for reregistering after being banned for a week for spamming and bumping topics. He has reregistered again as FudgeSwordPerson, and has pleaded with the great moderators to reinstate him. The new developments include Suyo's suggestion that perhaps with the arrival of the new year, TBG can be reinstated.

The issue has caused a riff in public opinion. Some are forgiving him, notably fourinone. Others, such as Ridder and blablob, disapprove of his potential reinstatement, saying that he broke the clearly-stated rules and therefore deserves the punishment. We invite all viewers to Tweet us with their opinions on the matter.

A new development in the pacing TBG story. *Ohh, can I be a reporter?*

According to moderator Superyoshi, the majority of the people protest agains the return of TheBetterGamer, for one reason or another. Suyo has come to the decision that TBG is not allowed back to Runouw.com.

Another development in the TBG story. Niklaw is challenging Suyo's decision to not reinstate TBG. No response yet from Suyo…we will keep you posted. Any thoughts by viewers can be expressed on the chat.

BREAKING NEWS: Suyo has decided to leave the TBG case up to the public. He has posted a poll in the topic "Mods, Please Consider" concerning TBG's potential reinstatement. If there is a strong feeling one way or the other in the poll, then that action will be taken; if it's a close race, the mods will decide.

THIS JUST IN! (Always wanted to say that)

A new topic called Prepare To Die is all the rage right now. It's a forum game that pits 6 contestents against eachother in a game of survival. Some are happy, some are sad, some are angry, while others are glad. There are mixed feelings on the topuc, but everyone seems to be enjoying it overall. The first person who is killed will be chosen on the 17th. So far, it isn't looking good for contestent Ridder. We'll inform you of any developments on this story.

Blablob, a warning. Do not report things that have not developed into a major story yet. Give it a little time. Wait perhaps until the end of the first round of something like that and then report it. Also, I can't help but get the feeling that there is a little advertising in that. Remember, this is an unbiased news station.

Examples of things to report:

Major stories - like TBG's banning and ensuing drama
Major events - Level Designer Contest results, for example
Major happenings with people - Like, for instance, if someone was to be perma-banned or if someone was leaving for an extended period of time

Things do not qualify as major unless the majority of frequent users know what something about what they are, even if they haven't visited the topics. Prepare to Die has not reached that level. Yet. (I expect that it will soon.)

Anyway, we are now going to something new: an Insider Report. This places the viewer inside the thing being reported. This Insider Report is on Niklaw's Tavern.

Niklaw's Tavern opened just a few days ago. Citing similar taverns on other forums as inspiration, he opened it as a place for people to just swing by for a drink, socialize, tell their troubles, etc.

But nobody could've expected the popularity it has attained. In just a few days, the Tavern has over 125 visits!!!

When you enter the tavern, Ridder is at the door to make sure that you're not entering with the intention of breaking the rules. Once inside, you'll find GalaxyMario playing music and Niklaw or Buffooner at the bar serving drinks. You'll likely see a card game or two going on. Regulars are Avolerators and marioiscool254, and Suyo often will pop by. You can get almost anything you want, from water to an alcoholic drink mixed with 10 Red Bulls and coffee. But be careful. If you break the rules, Buffooner will pull out a shotgun on you.

OK. Buffooner and GalaxyMario have both volunteered to be interviewed. So guys, tell me what the Tavern is like.

MIC: So what's it like to be the Co-Bartender of Niklaw's Tavern?

Buff: Well MIC, it is a good job which I enjoy doing. We get several requests a day, and is most easily the most popular topic on Runouw.com. As one of the people that signed up for the job of being Co-Bartender, I was chosen by Niklaw which I thank him for.

We have regulars in Niklaw's Tavern like Avolerators and marioiscool254 who order Iced tea and cranberry juice respectively. Occasionally, a fight may break out or someone will try to rob or burn down the store. In these cases, I have to use my handy shotgun *pulls out shotgun, then puts it away* and my amazing skills to think quickly on the spot and use anything at hand.

As I have said, I enjoy doing this job, handing out drinks to people who order. I have certain privelages over the users of Niklaw's Tavern, and so can enforce rules to stop things from getting out of hand, though I do have Superyoshi to help as he is security and Ridder who is the bouncer.

MIC: What kind of music do you play?

Galaxy: Video game music remixes, like the super-super triple awsome Live and Learn. I may do other music, but for now, VG music is my fronteir. My carrer started when I sent a PM to Niklaw... No, wait, I had a turn at the kareoke once, and I rocked the bar with an english translation of SSBB main theme. This is an awesome job, with awesome music, and cool people.
