If you hadn't already noticed the broken image in the medals table, then that is supposed to be the new medal. The official image is now a candy medal that will be awarded to winners of the mini contests and stuff. :>

You can be nominated for this medal by any user during the time this forum is open, so it's going to be like the cookie's replacement for the week or two before this place is graveyarded. So
As for the mini-LDC, I'm unsure whether this would replace the normal LDC trophy that we'd hand out to the winner. Although I doubt it would- because in every mini LDC in the past we've had the proper trophies handed out so I think it'll be pretty much the same. (except that only the 1st placer will get a trophy. Maybe the runner-ups will depending on how many people enter.)
