Don't forget the people on the other end of the spectrum though - the ones willing to help people out in any way they can. There are a lot of people like that too like me <3

What about both? I try to help people, and I am also a person in need of help sometimes.

I might go into it in more detail tomorrow, but I read the Wikipedia page of R. Budd Dwyer, a PA politician who committed suicide in a press conference after still.ambiguous fraud charges that would have had him in prison forever. I'm trying to imagine the tragedy and the passion of it all but it's beyond the scope of my experiences

Silent Conversations and a Crow's Final Song!
My latest story, and one of my personal favorites. A girl bound in silence finds the words to say to her prospective girlfriend as they visit her religious father in a dusty town on the edge of Kansas, where the crows' migration south brings forth anchored memories, the path to resolution, and a new start.

When I write things I tend to write a lot of detail and explanation. For my artwork, I need annotations, which need to be short and concise. I'm not good at simplifying things like that.

So my art teacher sits near me during art today, marking my annotations, and informs me that I "don't need essays". Fair enough, I know I write a lot, more than I need to. But then she calls the whole ♥♥♥♥ class round to use me as an example. She points out that "you don't need all this crap" and to actually know what you're talking about instead of just using a lot of words. All right. Thanks for making me feel like an idiot.

I didn't really want to take art in the first place, but the option I wanted to take got cancelled so I had to. I'm good friends with everybody in there, that isn't the problem, but it's not my sort of art and I'm quite insecure about my 'talents'. Up until today I thought I was doing all right, but nope, apparently I'm just as ♥♥♥♥ at this as I am at everything else.

Keep in mind we're on a tight time schedule; she definitely doesn't let us forget that. So the fact that she dragged everybody away from their work, just to humiliate me in front of my friends, irritates me just a little bit. Not to mention that, before, she's described me as "one of the kindest, politest students I've taught". Maybe she should take a leaf out of my book, and actually treat her students with a little bit of respect.

I would say take that up to the school board, since she's violating her agreement as a teacher, but that's something some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ would do.

Kary, keep writing. ♥♥♥♥ what other people say. If she continues, take it up to the board, not the principal. If she counts points off, bring it up and say you did the assignment like she said.

But don't let people smother your talents.

I'm gonna go update my "Who are you" post for this, but I guess I ought to be more clear on this:
What's up with my mother? She was sexually abused as a child, and she hasn't let it go. Meanwhile, she's been putting that pain on me, my dad, and my stepdad.

I don't dare to get it off my chest, but I'm just gonna say that something totally random, even the word itself, bothers me. It started on one specific day during 2nd Grade. That's the only part of it I'm getting off my chest. I would ♥♥♥♥ kill myself if anybody found out what the word was.

Aaargh. I just watched a BUNCH of videos from several people, and they are essentially saying that Nintendo needs to get with the 3rd party train, and make sure that there's nothing unique about their systems, so that their systems can be flooded with the same franchises that you can get on every other system, and FURTHERMORE, Nintendo needs to make more realistic stuff, bloody gory stuff, violence, and sex, because that's what sells.

I think Nintendo is awesome for what they put out, and they clearly have their own fanbase, which is never going to give up on them, but if anything, I think they should join Sega, give up on hardware, and just put their awesome out on other consoles. Just do what they do best, only on someone else's hardware, and the eternal conversation about how Nintendo is dying will FINALLY go away.
